Ready-Ride NC provides door-to-door assistance for client comfort and safety. Our door-to-door assistance means you can wait in the comfort of your home until the driver arrives. On the ride back, the driver will walk you all the way back to your door.
Whether you need a ride to work, the grocery store, a medical procedure, a business meeting or a family event, we are here to help you. Our drivers are CPR & First Aid Certified, courteous and practice Universal Precautions. Rates are all-inclusive and include a CPR certified driver, fuel, and door-to-door personal assistance.
Wheelchair accessible vehicles pass the American Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements. They are equipped with specially operated wheelchair lifts or ramps and regularly maintained to comply with State and Federal safety compliance requirements. Our vans and sedans are insured, clean and regularly maintained.
Services
Elderly Transportation We provide transportation options for older adults who prefer to be driven to appointments or who cannot drive themselves.
Wheelchair Transportation Available for those who are bound to a wheelchair and need assistance getting to and from appointments.
Differently-abled Transportation Provided for those unable to drive themselves to appointments or other events.
Special Needs We provide transportation to accommodate a variety of special needs that require understanding of specific physical and emotional circumstances.
Medicaid Covers rides to and from your doctor’s office, the hospital, or another medical office for your Medicaid approved care.
Accommodations
Door-to-Door Service Our drivers take riders from their home to an appointment or event with door-to-door service, for client comfort and safety.
Service Animals Permitted to accompany individuals with disabilities in vehicles.
Wheelchair Accessible Van Rider must inform the Scheduler of the need for wheelchair accessible transportation at the time of booking the ride.
Portable Oxygen Tank Permitted on all vehicles. It will be the responsibility of the rider to ensure these are properly secured.
Riders 17 years old and younger must be accompanied by an adult. Personal care attendant may ride along at no additional charge.
